My Project
Our elementary school is a Title I school and our students come to school eager to learn. Students come from a variety of socioeconomic and social backgrounds. We are a community school so our students receive meals and other services for free, supporting the whole child. Our school is a place of learning, structure, safety, love, and support for our students.
Listening comprehension is a critical building block for reading comprehension.
Our students need quality headphones. Students use their devices to listen to books at their individual levels. With individual, quality headphones students will be able to access reading material and books at their specific reading levels. This will help build their listening comprehension while building a base for reading skills.
