Help me give my students access to healthy snacks that we can keep cold with a fridge.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Through this project, I am requesting a small refrigerator for my grade level in order to keep snacks in our classroom.
Our district requires students to bring healthy snacks but it is difficult to instill this expectation without a place to store healthy snacks.
When students bring fruit salads, yogurts, and other healthy snacks that require refrigeration, we have nowhere near the classroom to store these snacks, and therefore many snacks that are brought in are full of preservatives and have to be shelf stable or eaten early in the day. A small refrigerator for our grade level will help us with the snacks families are expected to send in.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
