My students are an amazing group of third graders. They are enthusiastic about school and embrace everything we do in class. They love reading, P.E., math, and science. Our school is a kindergarten through eighth-grade school located in rural California. It houses 450 students. Our school is surrounded by forests and mountains and has daily visitors such as geese, turkeys, and deer.
My school had a fire on January 26.
I lost my entire classroom to smoke damage. The materials requested in this project are to help my students and me rebuild our classroom and supplies.
My Project
My students need a MacBook Pro to access all the of web-based web sites we use on a daily basis.
Every day, we start the day by practicing our math facts on a web-based site.
After the facts are practiced, students do a review lesson from the math lesson that was taught the prior day. In order for students to utilize both programs fully, they need to have the proper tools, and in this case it would be for a functioning computer.
This computer would provide my students with a tool that will allow them to access the web sites with ease. MacBooks are user friendly and intuitive. Having this easy-to-use computer will allow my students to access curriculum and practice skills.
In addition, students will use the computer to upload and edit pictures, create and edit videos, publish, and learn to navigate the computer.
