My Students

Technology that incorporates hands-on learning, with interactive images and accurate information, has the potential to engage every student at their level. iPads for my classroom would facilitate increased learning in many curriculum areas.

Our school is a Kindergarten-fifth grade elementary school with 443 enthusiastic students.

We have a dual language (Spanish and English) program as well as a bilingual program. Our poverty rate is 62%. Our students, like many across the globe, soak up information when it is presented in an engaging, multimedia fashion.

My Project

The 2 iPads will allow students to learn at their level. It will facilitate differentiation for students who are above level as well as below, due to the very nature of the vast amount of apps that are tailored made to the educational needs of first and second graders.

This project will impact not only those in my room this year, but those who will come in future years.

It will allow me to use the vast amount of data regarding individual achievement levels in reading and math and tailor make lessons appropriate for individual students.
