This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a diverse group of English Language Learners (ELL) who are eager to learn but often struggle with language barriers that prevent them from fully engaging with classroom activities.
To better support them, I am seeking funding for essential resources that will make a significant difference in their learning experience.
With your help, we can provide Merriam-Webster's Pocket Spanish-English Dictionaries, classroom headphones with microphones and language translator devices. These flexible, portable dictionaries will be a vital resource for students as they navigate new vocabulary and concepts, both in and out of the classroom. These headphones will be used for interactive language activities and allow students to practice their pronunciation and listening skills. These advanced, two-way AI voice translators work offline and will provide instant translation support during lessons, enabling students to understand and participate more effectively. Penny Trading Card Sleeves: These will be used for organizing and protecting language flashcards and other study materials, ensuring that students have durable and accessible learning tools.
