My Project
All my students love doing puzzles, making them an ideal tool for engaging them in learning while developing essential skills. The ABC and number puzzles are not only fun but also interactive, helping preschoolers build early literacy and mathematical thinking. The hands-on nature of these puzzles keeps young learners actively engaged, encouraging them to think critically as they complete each section. This activity strengthens their cognitive abilities by helping them recognize patterns and solve problems, laying a solid foundation for future reading and writing success.
In addition to the ABC puzzles, number puzzles offer an enjoyable way to introduce basic math concepts.
By matching numbers with corresponding quantities, children learn to recognize numbers and understand early math concepts like counting and number order. These puzzles also promote fine motor development as children manipulate the pieces, practicing hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and control—skills essential for activities like writing and drawing. With my students’ love for puzzles, these activities provide an engaging and effective way to support both academic and fine motor growth.
