This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
In fall of 2020, my kindergarten students will enter their first year in school, but we won't be together in class like we use to. Due to COVID-19, distance learning at home will take place and virtual teaching will be a big challenge for me without the proper technology.
My Project
Online teaching and learning is expected for this new school year of 2020.
Updating the technology in my classroom to teach virtually is a major issue.
In order to be an effective teacher, I need to be engaged with all the students as if they are all in front of me. However, with one small monitor, it is impossible to view the students and present the lesson. I need to visibly see all the students in one monitor.
