My students need reading games to help them review skills that they have learned. They also need dry erase boards for small group instruction.

My Students

The Academic Achievers are critical thinkers and enjoy working collaboratively. It's not too often that a teacher has a class that goes above and beyond to achieve their personal goals. It is truly rewarding to teach a group of students who enjoy learning. They are resourceful, innovative, and hardworking!

My "Academic Achievers" have made great gains in reading and math, but there's no limit to what they can accomplish with the right tools!

Thanks for helping me prepare tomorrow's leaders!

My Project

Our class focus is mastering the "Close Reading" skill. These games will provide an opportunity for the students to practice this skill. Playing games has always been a favorite pass time for children. When educators make learning fun, the students gain a love for learning! The Academic Achievers have a love for learning.

Our school's goal is to provide a safe, collaborative, cooperative and an individualized learning environment that will empower our students.

Our staff ensures that each and every student reaches their full potential.

I believe that playing games will help the students review skills and it will allow them to work with their classmates.

The whiteboards and erasers will allow the students to show their math work and it will help me get a quick assessment of their understanding. Using the whiteboards will also help with classroom management, in that the students will be able to stay at their seats while I guide them through math problem-solving.
