My Students
Have you ever had 18 people give everything they have to give, day in and day out? Have you felt the unconditional love 18 students give towards their teacher and peers and have a love of learning and want to academically do their best each and every day?
Welcome to my amazing classroom, located in the inner city of Buffalo.
We are part of Buffalo Public Schools and our school has a large percentage of students from low-income homes. We have the second-largest percentage of English as a new language learner in the district. As their teacher, I need to go above and beyond to give all my students hands-on, engaging, exciting resources so they can academically strive!

My Project
Learning to recognize the letters of the alphabet is an important skill in pre-kindergarten. It's key to have a variety of materials to accommodate children's different learning styles to accomplish this goal.
The materials requested for this project were specifically chosen to spark interest and excitement from the youngest of learners.
The majority of the materials will be utilized during our daily work time activities. During this time, students have free choice in the materials they use throughout the classroom. These materials were chosen because they are easy to disinfect after use and because of current health conditions.
