This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Letter recognition and letter sound production are the two most important skills Pre-K students will need to master before moving on to kindergarten. My special education and English Language Learning students will need extra emphasis and repetition of the alphabet, so I am seeking a way to reach all of my students through a multitude of formats.

From alphabet puppets to a dedicated class alphabet center, focusing on the ABC's in a multitude of ways will help me to reach every student.

Everything on my list will allow me to set up centers, activities and projects for my young students to be fully immersed in the alphabet and set up for success.
