Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are working hard to learn new vocabulary. Especially, our new English speaking learners who are limited in the English language and are trying to take in as many new words as possible.
In our physical education class we are trying to incorporate new opportunities to teach vocabulary these students might not learn in the classroom.
We are looking to use these whiteboards to assess our students knowledge and to monitor their progress while saving paper. We see almost 600 students and these boards will be very beneficial.
Our goals are for our students to not only be able to read the words, but comprehend and write them. We also would like to see our students be able to write how to apply them in their own words, rather than just show us.
