I teach because there is excitement and joy and suspense in preschool teaching. My passion is to teach young children. The highlights of my days at work are when I see our children’s eyes light up when they learn the skills of organization and caring for their school supplies.
It is our job as teachers to make sure the classroom is thoughtfully designed and materials for play are well organized.
Storing and displaying artwork and portfolios sends powerful messages to children about the value of their work and helps us do our job more effectively. It communicates to our children this is a place to test their ideas and helps us teachers more easily track children's developmental progress.
Is focused on classroom essentials, such as Chairback Buddy, it's a great way to keep the children's daily supplies organized and within reach! The Chairback Buddy slips over the back of their preschool chairs during small group and large group writing activities. Our classroom curriculum is writing skills showing their understanding of illustrating a story. The Chairback Buddy can hold their markers, pencils, and glue and art papers.
The Alphabet Center Pocket Chart set has many possibilities, from simple upper/lowercase matching to matching rhyming picture cards to language exploration.
During circle time the children are asked to identify the letters of the alphabet. Seeing these ABC’s in a chart will help the children visually see upper and lower case letters. The children sound out their letters in large group during our lesson plan about rhyming and sounding out letters.
Children learn through play by manipulating LEGOS and cleaning up after themselves. The LEGO Organizer Tote set will hold the class LEGOs in the manipulative center. Children see LEGOs by using their visual skills, by having the Organizer Tote set the children can visually see the colors and type of LEGOs in which they want to play.
