it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As an English teacher, I have always tried to pass along my passion for reading to my students. I do this by offering books that are not only age appropriate, but reimagine classics, or are presented in a visual format that awakens their interest for immersing themselves in fictional worlds that can also help them become creative writers down the road.
I am looking to grow my classroom library with books that invite and encourage students to read more, become better critical thinkers and writers!
I use many of the books in my classroom library during curriculum-based lessons as examples/alternatives to core readings, giving students a different perspective.
