Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With A World to See: Diversity is Key!, I want to create a classroom where every student feels valued and can celebrate our differences by setting up an art display. I’ll provide hands-on activities that let students learn about various cultures and perspectives. These experiences will help them engage with new ideas and develop empathy and understanding which are both essential for living in our diverse world.
My goals for this project are simple.
I want to encourage respect and teamwork while helping my students appreciate diversity. I want to give them the confidence to share their unique backgrounds and experiences, making our classroom a friendly place.
What makes my students special is their mix of cultures and identities which makes our learning space lively. By celebrating these differences, I hope to improve their learning experience and help them succeed in a connected world.
