My Students are a happy and eager group of children who need to be able to explore our world outside the classroom. This Project will help them be able to do so. Most of my children go home and to school only. This will help them learn about our world around them. Knowledge is power!
Most of my children live in a low income household which do not have computers in the home.
They are extremely eager to learn and ask many questions when I tell them about my life experiences. I would love to be able to provide them with the experience of a computer. Just think of how they would feel if given the opportunity to set in front of a computer and research a topic of their choice. My students thirst for knowledge and would use a computer and printer daily.
My Project
Common Core is very demanding and all students should be able to do research. These computers will help them research a topic and print out their findings. My students will be able to surf the Internet and seek information on their own. They will be able to print out pictures and take them home to share with their families and friends. Our world is full of technology. Each child will need to able to implement technology into their everyday lives as an adult. This project will help prepare them for college
I feel this project will allow my students to see the world around them that they may other wise never experience.
