My students need flexible seating options so they can moved around the room easily such as these bean bags and donuts balls. Making students comfy in a seating will help them be more focus and productive.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students will walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. We are a true melting pot as my students come from all walks of life and different cultures.
My Kindergarteners are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and very inquisitive.
My Project
Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times they choose a location in the classroom to help them focus. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are given a choice in their seating. They are more engaged, and get more work completed than when they are just sitting at their desk.
A variety of seats will be used often throughout the day.
We do a lot of small group activities and these seating options would be wonderful.
Donut balls are a fun to seat, to improve balance, coordination, and flexibility. The bean bags chairs also provide excellent relaxation which eliminates mental tension and Portable lap trays will provide my students support to write, draw, or work on our guided reading in a different and more fun way. Learning should be an interesting experience and I am willing to bring that to my students.
My students are less disruptive when they make their own choices. I hope that these item will increased their ability to concentrate and provide additional option for my students.
