it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It is a sad truth that kindergarten seems to have deviated from hands-on-learning instruction. It is up to the teachers to provide students with learning opportunities that allow them to explore critical foundational skills in a way that is hands-on and engaging.
Students will use the alphabet in various ways throughout their kindergarten year.
First, students will explore the alphabet using stamp letters. As students build their confidence sound mapping, they will begin to use their stamp letter to sound out words. Eventually, students will use their stamps to build high frequency words and spelling words.
