This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My current bilingual third graders are very interested in doing online research, and being able to print their research out in the class would help make the technology more tangible for them.
We currently have one printer in the staff area for over 30 teachers, and many times we don't have good prints to show our students the fruits of their labors.
A portable printer would allow us to be able to print our work out in the classroom as well as in the computer lab when we have time to go there.
Your donation will allow my students to learn the relevance of internet research and allow them to see how their future education can take them to so many places.
