This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students study real plants, flowers, fruits, and vegetables and do a lot of research on a variety of topics related to earth and sustainability. Many of my students are keen observers and are therefore interested in realia. The microscope is a great way to examine the natural flora and fauna with a closer lens.
The microscope and magnifying glasses will not only be of great motivation, but also draw the attention of my students who deal with mental health, social emotional learning and not to mention my special needs students.
The microscope and magnifying glasses will serve as a wonderful learning resource and help them to take a closer look at the natural landscape in and around our school campus.
