Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are eager to learn and come mostly from disenfranchised and transient backgrounds, but they come in all shades from different countries –mostly Hispanics-- and cultures. They have one thing in common, our demographics. We are about 90 percent Title I on free and reduced lunch. However, they excel given a modicum of resources that in other schools other students do have in abundance. Therefore, this desktop will enable my students to synchronize the bots and later create the commands necessary to be successful. Furthermore, it will allow my students to learn interactively using several science and robotics platforms –including CS-STEM Network-- where I will assign a series of interactive task to improve and test the science behind and their designing skills applied to the various VEX IQ models.
