This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Have you ever started to learn an instrument, but then the teacher and the instrument were taken away from you? No? Well, this is the situation my students are facing. My students have been learning the piano for the entire school year and coming to lessons twice a week. Now due to the pandemic, they are still coming to virtual lessons, but they do not have any instruments to practice with. As the teacher, I am looking for as many resources to help my students learn in creative ways without the resources of our classroom.

My Project

My student's materials at school were meant for a classroom setting in a school. We are no longer in a school and my students need their music needs to change with them. This music and these visuals can help give my students something new and exciting to learn from all while continuing their piano needs. Getting multiples of these copies will allow students to continue to use them when we get back into the classroom together while socially distancing. This is not the environment my students should be getting while learning an instrument, but the variety of music and choices will help them grow and continue to learn.
