A Welcoming Environment Directly Impacts the Learning of my Students!

Help me give my students a warm and welcoming learning environment! Funding in my school district is at an all time low, and there is simply no room in the districts budget for resources our kids need!

My Project

Students need a warm, welcoming, organized, and cheerful place to learn! My current school district where I serve student's with disabilities does not have the funding to provide resources and classroom accessories that students desperately need to make the most of their educational experience. My room is currently used as a an extra storage space for other teachers and I am really having difficulty keeping things cheerful and storage items out of the way. I love the students and staff here, but we are unfortunately not immune to the ongoing budgeting limitations within our district.

I am hoping to spruce up the classroom using items from this project and make the space more inviting for student's and their families.

Students have assisted me in selecting many of the items on this list, and are excited to see our classroom transformation!
