This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want my classroom to be engaging and welcoming to the young students who have lost math skills during COVID-19. The lap desks and non-fluorescent lighting will help my classroom become more inviting and flexible to accommodate student needs. Markers, whiteboards, pencils, etc. are all basic necessities that students require in order to participate in everyday class and other class activities that require practice and recording. The storage cart and file organizer will make organizing all kinds of different things in the classroom significantly easier, leaving more time for engagement and activities, rather than worrying about organizing.
