After teaching virtually for the past year and a half, I am lucky enough to be back in the classroom with an amazing group of second graders! During these uncertain times, change has been a part of everyday life for my students. My ultimate goal is to provide a sense of consistency, community and security to all of my students and to celebrate the little wins we achieve each day.

The positive relationships I build with all of my students encourages their motivation and engagement in learning but also the confidence they find within themselves which is the key to their success.
My Project
Winter is approaching fast and I want to prepare a care package for each of my students to ensure they will be warm and stylish at school and at home.
I want to celebrate my students' academic achievements and the sense of community they have created being the amazing second graders that they are.
Each care package will include a warm coat, new shoes, gloves for the playground, 4 books to read at home and a few stress relieving toys for when they need a small break at school or at home.
