A Walk to Remember to Focus

My Project

Lots of information is out there on how a sensory walk helps autistic and special education students. The truth is it benefits all students. In the last 30 years, I have watched students come to school with more weight on their shoulders and not having the tools to relieve the stress.

By having a way to decompress in the hallway and return to class ready to learn is helpful for all students.

This sensory walk will be placed outside my classroom so all students on campus can benefit from refocusing on what is important and let go of what is keeping them from focusing in class.
