it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are an incredible group of young learners who are eager to connect with content and show me their skills. Technology helps students take risks, engage with content, and build confidence through listening and speaking on their own terms.
My Project
I am requesting headphones with microphones which will make a huge difference in my classroom. Students have access to Seesaw which allows them to demonstrate their learning and skills in a variety of ways - including responding with speech!
Students love making recordings of themselves, but beyond the fun is the opportunity to showcase their skills and knowledge without the barriers of writing.
Some of my quietest students come alive when they have the chance to sit independently and speak their ideas into a microphone.
I've used these headphones before and they provide excellent noise cancellation, so a classroom buzzing with chatter won't interfere with a student trying to show me what they know.
