My robotics students urgently need new technology for our robotics program. Currently, we are working with just one laptop dedicated to programming our competition robot. This setup presents significant challenges, especially when sharing the laptop with our student CAD (3D modeling) team. Our issue is sharing one device, which causes us to lose valuable time with programming and robot design. I am seeking a new laptop with adequate storage and processing power to run our CAD software for designing and creating parts and assemblies for our robot.
This technology would significantly enhance students' productivity and efficiency and revolutionize their learning experience.
With this technology, my students can showcase their robot during school and community events and display their designs and technical drawings with their new technology. Additionally, having a dedicated laptop for CAD work would allow my students to use 3D modeling software efficiently, ensuring our designs are precise and ready for competition.
Furthermore, this laptop would serve multiple purposes for my students, including updating their team website, using graphic design software, and engaging with digital media programs. This upgrade is essential for us to continue progressing and excelling in our robotics projects, and we would sincerely appreciate any support to make this possible.
