This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students at our Early Education Center are new learners! The majority of them live in the Los Angeles area and are from low-income/poverty-level families. To be enrolled at our school, their parents must be working and/or going to school. Their ages range from 2 to 5 years of age, and due to their age, they are learning new things daily through play and experiences. Our Early Education Center was open in the mid-1960s, and many of our classroom items and supplies are dated.
My Project
The following items will help me reach my students as we learn from home. These tools will allow me to have better communication, better screen time, and a much better home classroom.
Virtual learning has become a mini film production.
To reach our students, we much have the correct tools, very similar to what we need in our school classrooms. These tools have are now not just pencils, papers, and crayons but speakers, microphones, web cameras, and lighting. These tools will help produce a functional learning classroom environment.
