This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are amazing. They come from all over the world, speak dozens of languages, work hard every day, and love science! My school is truly heaven, and the students I have the privilege of teaching, are the best I've ever known. I'm the luckiest teacher alive.
My students rock science.
My students are motivated and engaged. I love watching them learn and watching them grow. My greatest hope is that each child leaves my classroom believing that science is the greatest class ever, and the kind, generous gifts DonorsChoose donors have given us have made that happen!
My Project
Setting up a virtual classroom requires technology... and lots of it. One thing that I learned during the spring semester, is that effective online instruction must first be clear. I must be able to present information that is easy to see and easy to hear, in order for my students to engage and understand.
Your donation will empower my students to have the best remote learning experience possible.
All of these resources will be used every single day to reach my students. The camera will provide a clear image that my students can follow. The usb hub is necessary because I only have one usb port. The headphones and mic will allow my students to hear me when I speak, and will eliminate background noise.
