My Students
As the magnet school for STEAM, we at Joseph B. Cavallaro will provide every child with the support to grow intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally. In an advanced inquiry based learning environment, we will serve as leaders for the 21st Century, in both technology and the arts.

I am a STEM teacher in a Brooklyn middle school. I currently serve students in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. My students come from many different ethnic backgrounds. They also are a mixture of general ed and special education students.
My Project
Students will be using a website called tinkercad to help them create 3D designs. We have been learning and studying the program to help us create various objects. I would love to have the students create and object and be able to print it, and watch their object come to life. Being able to see and hold their object brings so much more to a lesson and enriches the learning experience.
