Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
All of my students are English language learners with exceptional needs. They love to learn and they work hard to grow and to develop as learners.
My students have the great capacity to succeed as long as they are given the opportunity, support, encouragement, and the proper resources.
The COVID-19 outbreak has greatly disrupted the lives of many. While children have not been the face of the pandemic, I believe they have become the silent victims throughout this whole crisis.
My Project
The social and emotional well-being of students play a crucial role in promoting student growth and academic achievement. When you meet children's needs, you reduce many of the roadblocks barring them from experiencing success.
This year has been a very challenging year for all my students.
While they remain resilient, the Pandemic has caused some stressful and worrisome feelings.
This Christmas, I would like to surprise my class with stuffed animals, books and cards to brighten their overall mood and spirits.
