it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are incredibly special, each bringing their own strengths and talents to the classroom. Their creativity, resilience, and different ways of thinking inspire me daily. With the right support, they thrive in ways that showcase their intelligence, curiosity, and endless potential.
Some of my autistic students seek sensory input to help them regulate their emotions, focus, and feel comfortable in the classroom.
A spinning chair provides a calming effect and improves their ability to engage in learning. For students who struggle with sensory processing, movement is a necessity that helps them stay grounded and reduces anxiety. This chair would offer them a safe and controlled way to meet their sensory needs, leading to better concentration, emotional regulation, and overall success in the classroom.
