it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students need your help! I teach third grade at a charter school in a low income community in Chicago. I have two special education students in my classroom.
We have begun a new writing program that has turned my students into writers. Throughout the year our new writing program will have us studying different genres of writing. Then students will put much effort and time into creating their own writing. I would love for them to be able showcase the work they have done. They would feel so much like the real authors that they are if they were able to type out their finished products for our publishing party. We only have 3 computers for a class of 28 students.
My students need an HP laptop computer to type up their writing. They will be able to print their finished work to showcase it like real authors. My students will be able to use their creativity to make the masterpieces they envision in their minds. This will help them gain confidence in their writing, which will help them continue great writing for years to come.
I always strive to be the best teacher I can be. Having this one extra laptop will help with all students being able to type finished work. Your help will ultimately benefit my students. You will give my students the chance to show their creativity and hard work every time we publish a new piece of writing. I know that it is not possible for my students to complete types of projects like this at home. I would like to give them that chance, with your help of course.
