it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Can you recall the nervous feeling in your stomach when first introduced to new technology equipment? I'd like put my students' fears at ease. Will you be the link to help me?
I teach a group of 22 unique first grade students.
They attend a Title 1 school district. Unfortunately, the community they live in is stricken by a high level of poverty. About ninety-six percent of them qualify for the free or reduced lunch program. Despite all these things, they are very normal young children eager to please their teacher and so willing to learn. They make my job that much more enjoyable. And, I look forward to seeing their smiling faces each morning.
My Project
The selected items will be utilized to incorporate technology into the lessons. The laptop and mice will better prepare my students with modern technology and enhance learning. They will be able to complete the recommended district usage time on the Istation reading computer program along with various education websites. The Cricut cartridge will be used to cut out letters and/or phrases to establish a positive learning environment. They will gain life long skills to better prepare them for their future educational requirements.
