My Project

Carpet time is a very important and essential part of the day for kindergarten students. The students go over basic skills such as speaking and listening.

Every morning, my students and I gather for calendar time and to discuss their feelings.

My students love this time of day to sit and talk. Having a classroom carpet would allow my students to gather in a circle without moving their chairs around the room. Not to mention the time we could save just by moving to the carpet without traveling with chairs.
