A Tiger's Earing Must Be Good!

Help me give my students the Jelly Comb On Ear Headphones and Earbud Headphones they need to hear the Lexia Core 5 program we use to help students learn to read.

My Students

My students live in an area where most of the parents work for basic needs. Several don't have technology available to them except for at the school. Our school uses some very effective programs to help students on an individual basis learn reading and math. We have a before and after-school program that helps fill this gap.

My class consists of 24 amazing students.

They come from a variety of backgrounds and have their own challenges, but they are eager to learn. I asked them once who wanted to learn 3rd grade math. Several students raised their hand but one girl raised both hands. I loved the enthusiasm.

My Project

Our class just received some second-hand Chromebooks, enough for every student. We are so excited! What we need now is enough Jelly Comb headphones and earbuds for the whole class to use with our Chromebooks while we work independently on our Lexia Core 5 reading program.

The Jelly Comb headphones and earbuds would allow my students to work individually on good programs without disturbing each other.

Learning to work independently is such an important skill for students to learn. It will affect their future education and career.

I also have a few students who need the headphones because they are easily over stimulated by too much noise. These students would benefit greatly by the Jelly Comb headphones.
