My Students

My students are brilliant! Full of energy and creativity, they bring enthusiasm to everything they do. Each one is unique and their individuality is reflected in every piece of artwork they create.

They accomplish so much more than they think they can, because they are eager to follow directions and work very hard.

The work that we do helps them to think creatively and excel in all subjects.

These adaptive materials will help them to express their thoughts and creativity.

My Project

My students have limited speech. We communicate through pictures that I present to them and that they draw. The goal is for them to improve their fine motor skills so that they can eventually write and draw recognizable pictures. With these materials they will have more avenues of visual expression at their command.

Drawing and painting with Traditional materials is limiting for those who lack the fine motor skills necessary to hold a brush and get paint on paper.

These materials will enable those lacking fine motor ability to participate in painting and creative expression. The larger paint sticks are easier to hold and to make marks on paper with. Thank you for making this possible.
