My Students
I work at the best elementary school where all our students are on the road to success. My students are part of a Title I school in a big city. We have a very diverse population with students from over 92 countries and many students are English Language Learners.
Walk into my room and you will see the best group of students.
My classroom is a self-contained special education class. We have students with a variety of needs in both educational and life skills. Each student is unique and brings me joy when I see him or her succeed.
My Project
Our school is home to two very special classes that support students with disabilities. Each student has unique needs and all of them love to play on the playground.
Remember as a kid how much fun it was to swing on the playground at recess?
Help our students be able to experience it. We are wanting to help include our students who cannot use a regular swing by having adaptive swings available for these special students. We need a swing frame to add to our playground. We also need 3 swings that are adaptive for our students to be able to swing with their friends.
