This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The new school year is right around the corner, and I’d like to start it off with materials that will help my fabulous First-Grade students stay organized and on task while they learn. My class is made up of many ESOL students I want to provide an environment where they can feel successful all day long as they navigate learning a new language, as well as the first grade curriculum.

Students feel at ease when they know that each day they arrive at school they will be stepping into success.

The privacy folders will help to improve my students’ attention by reducing distractions as well as create privacy as they work on their tests. The over the door shoe holder will work perfectly to keep their headphones that they use daily in one place without getting tangled. The organizer toolbox will allow students to get what they need at one glance. The students will use the index cards, pens, and paper for class assignments.
