Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This summer, I will be working with students who need additional support to be ready for 2nd grade.
Many of these students are emergent bilinguals who will be focusing on strengthening their phonics and math skills in English to build the foundation they need for success next year.
To help make the most of our time together, I am requesting a teaching easel that will serve as a central tool for whole-group instruction, small-group lessons, and interactive learning. Having a sturdy, mobile easel will allow me to model strategies, display anchor charts, and engage students more effectively in reading, writing, and math activities.
This resource will help create a focused, hands-on learning environment that supports visual learners and allows me to keep materials organized and accessible during each lesson. With your support, I can provide these students with the strong, structured start they need to confidently step into the next grade.
