Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a first-year teacher, I want to ensure my second graders have a strong start and a classroom filled with tools to help them succeed! I want all students to have access to materials that will help them better understand the curriculum. I want to emphasize the subjects of reading, math, and science, and make learning fun and engaging for all student types.
A mobile whiteboard will allow me to maximize carpet time when teaching phonemic awareness.
Whiteboards and materials will help in increasing student engagement and participation in math instruction. Lastly, a solar system model will serve as a great visual tool to help teach science!
I am so very excited to start this year, and look forward to helping my students grow in every capacity. Your donation allows me to help my new group of students, as well as ensure my classroom is stocked with all the necessities to properly deliver instruction. I thank you from the bottom of my heart!
