My students need to learn about electricity, electromagnetism and electrostatics. These awesome kits will provide multiple hands-on inquiry learning opportunities.
"Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I'll understand." Students learn by doing. My students need to have more opportunities for hands-on experiences than we can provide on a limited budget.
I have 180 8th grade physical science students who are eager to learn about the world around them.
They come from different socioeconomic backgrounds, with aspirations and dreams for an amazing future. They are creative and curious and look forward to activities and labs where they can discover new things.
My Project
I want my students to ask questions and discover the answers through hands-on inquiry. Discovering electrons, static electricity, electromagnetism, and how to make and store electricity is only part of what they can learn with these great kits and spectrum tubes.
Help foster a love of learning by providing the materials for hands-on experiences.
As we move towards sending humans to Mars and beyond, it is current middle school students that will travel through space to worlds unknown. They will be the builders of the next generation of spaceships and satellites, the discoverers of a cancer cure, or champions of the environment. By piquing their curiosity now, we can nurture and encourage their interest in future science education. Thank you.
