My Project
I have been blessed to teach some fantastic 10th grade students who are motivated to learn, caring, honest, and self-controlled. Currently, I allow students to walk on the treadmill during class. The problem is they are not doing any work during that time. My plan to use an existing desk failed. A standup desk for the walking pad would solve these issues for students.
Incorporating movement into our daily routine benefits our physical and mental health.
This movement helps by increasing energy levels, improving overall mental focus, and decreasing weight gain. Students who are physically active tend to have better grades, school attendance, cognitive performance, and classroom behaviors.
