This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
One thing that I appreciate that my students all care for is having a clean classroom with healthy students. To name some examples each afternoon as we pack up - they wipe down their desks, help clean trash off the ground with our sweepers. Anytime we have snack or are waiting in line for lunch, they remind each other to disinfect their hands. Anytime somebody gets hurt, a classmate is already moving quickly to grab them a bandaid.
Students thrive both academically and emotionally when they have access to a clean classroom.
A sticky desk, an unexpected injury, or constantly getting sick is no fun for kids. They really do care about keeping their classroom clean and ensuring themselves or their friends are doing their best to stay healthy. With these cleaning supplies, we are able to continue our best learning without worrying about the many spills, germs, or injuries that may come up
