I have a class of 25 students. Our class is comprised of a variety of learners and abilities, which include special education students, English Language Learners, intervention students, and advanced learners. They are all eager to learn and grow. Working as a team they create a strong school family. They learn what their individual strengths are, and how they can use those strengths to strengthen our community.
My students love to explore and do hands-on activities/projects.
They develop growth mindsets and persevere through their struggles. They know that learning is a lifelong pursuit. As captains of their learning, they take ownership of their education.
My Project
All my students want to be able to hear me. They get really excited with some of the activities/games that we do in class. A microphone will allow all the students to be able to hear the lesson clearly and be able to participate without saying they can't hear me.
My class provides excitement and hands-on projects for the students in the classroom.
The clay will allow the students to do hands-on creation projects with their fossil unit and writing assignment. They will be creating a fossil and create a story of how their fossil came to be and how it was created.
