My students are highly motivated young adults who are taking an active role in their education and community. Despite many obstacles, they remain positive and focused. My students live in various parts of the city.
Our school is a magnet school in the district with a medical focus.
Many of my students will go on to pursue higher education and careers in the medical field. As their teacher, my goal is to create an environment that fuels their desire to learn and challenges them. This year, is very different as we are virtual. I am still hoping to be the best teacher this year and have an amazing year with my students.
My Project
Most of my students do not have a printer at home and we are fortunate to have an HP Color LaserJet Printer in our classroom. To ensure we can use it throughout the year once we return, we are asking for cyan, yellow, and magenta toner.
Asking for printer toner may seem simple, but it makes a big difference in my classroom.
The students work very hard on their assignments throughout the school year and I want them to be proud of their work. Printing in color really shows the high quality of their work. They also use the printer for college applications, internship applications, and job applications. I want to help them have what they need to be successful in and out of my classroom.
