A Splash of Color Makes Learning Fun!

My Students

Every student deserves a teacher that is fully invested in providing a quality, engaging, and long-lasting education; I want to be that teacher. I teach in a Title 1 school where the vast majority of the students are on free or reduced lunch. I would love to be able to provide my students access to socially safe and fun learning tools that they may not have at home. With more than 50% minority students, our school enjoys a fun multi-cultural environment. It is wonderful to have many from different backgrounds all learn under the same roof but it comes with language challenges. I would love to provide more hands on learning.

My Project

Kindergarteners love color! Adding paper, ink pads, play dough, and a drying rack to my art supplies would make it possible to create educational masterpieces. Students love to create and display their work. It will be wonderful to have my students write their stories through words and illustrations.

Dry erase boards and LCD boards are highly effective tools for making writing and math fun and engaging.

One huge benefit is that they are both very portable and very appropriate ways to learn. My little learners in kindergarten can use these both at home and at school.
