Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Imagine walking into a classroom where you’re instantly greeted by inspiring quotes, soft lighting, cozy chairs, and a fun, engaging rug that sparks creativity and joy. That’s the kind of space I want to create for my students a place that feels safe, uplifting, and exciting to learn in.
This project includes:
🪑 A cozy saucer chair and rotating bookshelf to create a calm reading nook, perfect for encouraging independent reading and focus.
🎨 Motivational posters, tapestries, and neon signs to promote positivity, confidence, and perseverance reminding students daily that “We can do hard things!”
🌱 Artificial greenery panels and a disco ball to bring fun, life, and personality into our room, making learning feel less like a task and more like an adventure.
🕒 A pink digital LED wall clock to help students manage time and transitions with style.
🎲 And finally, the Flagship Carpets notebook rug, a beautiful and functional centerpiece that will define our seating area, spark imagination, and serve as an anchor for our classroom community.
Every item in this project was chosen with love to help create a space where students feel motivated, supported, and excited to learn.
