My Students
My Ohio students are part of a literacy support program that helps struggling readers and writers gain the needed skills and strategies to become confident, independent learners.
Our students are enthusiastic, love to learn, have loads of potential, are diverse in many ways, and have some unique needs that keep me striving for fun and meaningful ways to accelerate their growth in reading and writing.
I thoroughly enjoy helping to foster a love of reading and writing that will benefit them for a lifetime.
My Project
While we typically spend most of our time in collaborative groups, the use of individual spaces has become a necessity this school year. These darling tables and chairs will allow me to provide a safe, comfortable work space for my students.
By donating to our project, you will be helpful in accomplishing the difficult task of social distancing at school with young learners.
While adapting to our "new normal," students will be able to sit in his or her own space. Our project also includes individual pouches that will be used for each student's individual set of supplies. Students will have their necessary materials at their fingertips.
