This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My public school students are 8 and 9-year-old third-graders. They are eager to learn each day and have proven that they learn and focus better during instruction when given opportunities for seating choice or "flexible seating."
My students are coming into a time in their lives when they are becoming more aware of their learning and how the choices they make will impact that growth.
Through flexible seating, my students are able to choose a conducive space for learning in the classroom.
It is important to use high-quality products that will last throughout the school year. These durable bean bags and soft stools will help my students to have more options for seating.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
